Invest in AAC

Our community consists of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) or global majority individual artists, executive arts leaders, mid and early career arts administrators, arts educators, undergraduate and graduate students, arts and culture advocates, funders activated by our mission.

After 6 years of being completely volunteer-led, AAC began transitioning to a staff-run model and we need your help to sustain and grow our capacity to serve.

We are currently working to sustain a staffing model and to grow our services. Your support directly supports the following and so much more:

  • Providing Professional Development and Community Building Programs

    • To date we have organized 100+ events engaging 1,000+ participants

  • Relaunching Our Mentorship Program

    • Launched to support the next generation of leaders, we have mentored over 42 individuals with 100% reporting professional growth under mentors of color.

  • Growing Our Annual Convening

    • Growing from 75 attendees in 2017 to now averaging well over 300 in-person attendees.

  • Creating an Advocacy Agenda

    • Creating and Promoting Community-Designed Educational Resources to Advance Key Issues

  • Developing a Job Board

    • Connecting our community with career advancement opportunities

  • Expanding of Our Team

    • Continue to build our team and infrastructure to drive these important initiatives.

Every dollar helps us serve our entire community.
